Who Are We?
We are two good friends who have long dreamed of creating a special place on the shores of Lake Balaton, in the heart of Balatonfüred. We have invested all our energy and expertise into Maurus Restaurant to provide our guests with memorable experiences.
With us, every dish and drink tells a story that makes the moments spent here memorable. Whether it's a lavish breakfast, a special meal following a beautiful sunset, or the ice cream creations from Damniczki confectionery, everything is made from natural ingredients to offer our guests the best.

We went for a Sunday family lunch; the service was fast and kind, attentive; the bolognese for our 2.5-year-old son was made in a suitable portion for him.
